Providing Training and Support to Teachers, one of my Passions



Read & Rise Workshops training- May 2012

      
        I feel passion in teaching staff about new ideas to incorporate in their classrooms or with the children's families.  Past May 2012 we did the Read and Rise Child Care Provider Workshops with teachers from the seven centers within the Area.  The purpose of the workshops is to build partnership with families and present teachers with ideas on how to motivate parents and empower them to be actively involved in their child's education.  The workshops focus on children's literacy development.
        I enjoyed immensely doing the 6 days training conversation with the teachers, and for next year I'm planning to implement workshops similar to this one where teachers can do socialization and learn from each other.
